INGREDIENTS:

  • 1 lb shrimp – peeled and deveined
  • 1 Tbsp flour
  • 2 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp cayenne
  • ½ cup olive oil
  • ½ cup butter
  • ¼ cup garlic – minced
  • 3-4 squeezes of lemon
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • White rice for serving

INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Toss shrimp in flour, paprika, cayenne, salt and pepper.
  2. Heat pan on medium heat and add olive oil.
  3. Once oil is heated, add shrimp in a single layer and brown on both sides.
  4. Stir in butter and garlic and cook for another 30 seconds to 1 mnute.
  5. Add squeezes of lemon and more salt and pepper if needed.
  6. Serve over white rice.
